I have been making stringed instruments to
order since 2004, mostly guitars at first, but recently I have been
making ukeleles. I trained at Leeds College of Music and have a National
Diploma in Stringed Instrument Building and Repair. I am passionate
about creating beautiful resonant instruments.
I make clean, honest instruments from quality hardwoods and tonewoods. I focus upon gaining outstanding tone and sound, whilst also making sure I produce an instrument that is visually harmonious and striking. Since all my instruments are made to measure I do not have off-the-shelf prices for my instruments, however as a guide guitars start from £1800, and ukeleles from £400. If you would like to discuss a project with me please get in touch. I am quite happy to arrange a visit to my workshops if you are interested, and to assist people who are making their own instruments.
