Guitar being oiled
| I haven't been very good at
taking pictures of my completed instruments, so am forced to
use workshop shots! Here this guitar is being finished with
tru-oil. I finish all my instruments with oil, rather than
lacquer, as I believe it improves the sound quality, as well
as providing a truer matt finish that ages beautifully as the
instrument matures. |

The back and
sides are made of flamed maple.

The sitka spruce
top is tap tuned and braced painstakingly to produce
optimum performance.
Note the handmade rosette.
